Questions

Good to know

How does FoodAI calculate my calorie goal?

From your age, height, weight, everyday activity, workouts and the pace you pick, using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. Protein and fat are set from your body weight and carbs fill the rest. See the exact maths

Is FoodAI free?

FoodAI is free to download and try. The full experience is part of FoodAI Premium, a subscription you can cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account.

Does it work with Apple Health?

Yes. On iPhone, FoodAI connects to Apple Health for steps, active calories and weight, and you choose exactly what it can access.

Which languages are supported?

The app is available in English, Romanian, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, and scans understand food in all of them.

Can I use it on Android?

Yes. FoodAI is on Google Play for Android phones. The Apple Watch app needs an iPhone.

How accurate are photo scans?

A photo scan estimates portions from the image, so treat it as a close starting point. You can edit every ingredient and amount, and barcode and label scans use the exact values printed on the pack.
